The Hanging of the Greens
This years 2nd annual Hanging of the Greens will be held on Sunday December 6th at 2pm. This event is so much fun! You won't want to miss it at all! Everyone brings a favorite winter covered dish and 2 litre or other (non-alchoholic please) drink to share and plenty of decorations to make the barn festive. Bring decorations for your stall area and a few to share for the entire barn area. We have a tree provided but feel free to bring any ornaments. This year we are gonna kick it up a notch with a stall decorating contest! We will have an "impartial judge" to pick the best decorated stall for a special prize! Last year we had such awesome food and despite the cold we had a really good time! We had chilli and stew and soups galore and tons of party food. We really know how to party at Creekside! We are also going to have a grab bag gift exchange this year. Anyone who wants to participate should bring a wrapped gift not to exceed $5. Thats right..$5 or LESS! Bring a gift......get a gift! We also will be taking keepsake pictures of you and your horse when they come in. This will be a most fun family day at the barn so plan now to attend!
********************************************* Now that the cold weather has arrived, please remember to keep the barn doors and windows closed. If we do get lucky enough to have a day that finds it warmer outside than inside we can open the doors but please remember to close them again before the sun goes down to keep the warmth in. As always, close the front barn doors when leaving the barn.

The stall windows have been installed. If you would like light to shine in the stall you may put plexi glass (plastic ONLY) windows in you stall as long as they are secure and fit properly.
********************************************* As the weather gets colder please remember that if you use the hose you MUST turn the water off and empty the pipes. If you are not sure how to do this please see Darrell and he will teach you the process. This also would be a good time to install your heated buckets!
********************************************* While we will miss Cody and wish him well at his new home, we want to welcomeToby to the barn! Congrats to Melissa, Cassie and Trent on such an awesome new horse and we wish Cody well in his retirement!
